Biography

Crissy is a Registered Nurse and Senior Consultant at VMG Health, based in Denver, CO. With over 18 years of clinical nursing experience, 17 of which were dedicated to outpatient surgery, Crissy brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her areas of specialization include facility documentation development, accreditation, Medicare certification, regulatory compliance, state licensure, staff training and development, as well as infection control and prevention. She has served as a Senior Consultant with VMG Health, formerly Progressive Surgical Solutions, since 2008.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Crissy worked in pre-op, PACU, and the operating room across multiple ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), which has provided her with deep insight into the needs of ASC stakeholders and the complexities of outpatient surgery environments.

Crissy holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in leadership from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, Long Beach. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Crissy is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) and the American Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses (ASORN). She frequently presents on ambulatory surgery topics at national conferences, including ASOA and Hawaiian Eye.
