
Debra Stinchcomb

Biography
Debra Stinchcomb is a Registered Nurse and Senior Consultant at VMG Health, based in Arkansas. With over 36 years of experience in the healthcare industry, nearly half of which has been dedicated to working with single- and multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), Debra brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her areas of specialization include ASC facility development, operations and management, accreditation, Medicare certification, regulatory compliance, staff training and development, and due diligence. She has served as a Senior Consultant with VMG Health, formerly Progressive Surgical Solutions, since 2005.
Prior to joining VMG Health, Debra held several leadership positions in healthcare, including ASC Administrator, Regional Vice President, and Director of Operations. She has also served as an AAAHC Surveyor and contributed to the TJC Ambulatory PTAC.
Debra holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Arizona, Tucson. She is also a Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC).
In addition to her consulting work, Debra has made significant contributions to the ASC industry. She founded the Arkansas Ambulatory Surgery Association (AASA), served on the FASA/ASCA Board, chaired the Quality Committee for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA), and served as a member of the Board of Ambulatory Surgery Certification (BASC). She frequently presents on ambulatory surgery topics at national and state conferences, including ASCA, KAASC, and OR Manager.
